Breastfeeding Support

Breastfeeding may be natural but that does not mean it comes naturally. Throughout history, women were surrounded by other women; able to observe how it works from a young age and then be supported by many others who have done it.

Unfortunately, we haven’t all grown up like this. We may not witness breastfeeding first hand until we try it ourselves.

It is important to remember that breastfeeding is a learned skill for both you and your baby. It may take time to to get the hang of it, but it should not be painful. If you do experience pain or discomfort it is important to seek support as soon as possible to address any underlying issues and get off to a great start.

Timely support can make a big difference in your breastfeeding journey. Whether you need ongoing support or just a one-time check-in, I am here to help you achieve your breastfeeding goals — healing is always attainable.
