Postpartum care is a necessity, not a luxury

Mālama Mama was created with the intention to support a world in which mothers are witnessed and held in order to cultivate and maintain lifelong wellness and make way for future generations that are thriving. Care is grounded in information that is both evidence based and traditional while helping you cultivate your inner compass and trust in yourself during the massive transformation that is childbirth and motherhood- for when a child is born, a mother is born as well.

About Alyssa Mancini, RN, BSN, CLC

I am passionate about true health and wellness.

Throughout nursing school and my nursing career I have been searching for how I can support thriving life on this planet. My background is in critical care, clinical trials, and organic vegetable farming.

After becoming a mama in 2018, I realized that the health of mothers is foundational to the health of the planet. How we are cared for and resourced as mothers directly impacts our ability to care for the new life we have created- and the ripples continue.

I believe if we get still and listen to our deep inner knowing it will not lead us astray. As a new mother so much conflicting information is thrown at us. I am honored to support you to stand in your authority and connect to your intuition while providing you with the resources and information rooted in our design as humans and supported by modern science to inform this.

“For true healing and prevention, we must work every day to send our bodies the message that we are not being attacked, we are not in danger, and we are well-nourished, well-supported, and calm”
