What Mothers Are Saying:

"Working with Alyssa was amazing! My postpartum journey was extremely difficult with multiple bouts of mastitis and hospital visits. Alyssa helped ground me during this chaotic period and always made me feel better. She is a wealth of knowledge, and I appreciated our time together so much!"

— E.S.

"Alyssa came to our house during our first 6 weeks postpartum. She came ready with an open mind, ears, and arms to help in whichever way I needed at the moment. She helped nourish me and my family through home-baked goods, soups, and infused teas specific to my newly postpartum body. In addition, she offered support through moxibustion, oils, abdominal wraps, and yoni steam. My postpartum experience was well supported by our wonderful doula and good friend, Alyssa. I'm so thankful I was able to have her by my side during this time."

— K.L.

The first weeks are precious—you get one shot to feel rested, confident, and connected. Don’t wait.

FAQs

  • The best time is during pregnancy or as soon as possible after birth. Early postpartum support yields the most benefit!

  • I offer virtual consultations and classes nationwide. For in-home support, I primarily serve New Hampshire, but let's discuss your situation!

  • Initial consultations are 30 minutes. In-home support visits typically range from 2-4 hours, customized to your needs.

  • This varies! Some mothers benefit from weekly visits for the first 6 weeks, while others prefer 2-3 visits total. We create a plan together based on your needs, budget, and vision.

  • Most of my clients felt unsure about asking for help—until they saw how much lighter motherhood could feel with support.

That’s the point of having this support— to be with you and help you find your center in the chaos and the messy bits — and to come out on the other side feeling more whole.

  • While I can’t tell you if it will be worth it for you, and I cannot fill the role of an entire community, I can attest to some benefits that you may want to consider:

    • Having early breastfeeding support in your home to troubleshoot can be a game-changer- as can feeling supported and informed in your feeding choices.

    • Having someone you trust to ask questions, reflect on your birth story, and support you as you want to be supported.

    • Having support to rest can lead to faster and more complete healing, which can benefit you immediately and also save you from health issues later in life.

    • Having options for deeper support beyond (and of course, including!) someone to make your snacks, meals, and do light cleaning— I can help you with belly binding, vaginal steaming, moxabustion (“mother warming”), and more.

This level of support can lessen your risk for postpartum mood disorders and increase your sense of feeling supported through all of the decisions and situations that can arise in the early postpartum. Having an extra set of hands and eyes around, dedicated to YOU, so you can find your footing on solid ground with this new addition to your family.

  • I'm committed to making care accessible. Let's have a conversation about:

    • Reduced rates for limited-income families

    • Payment plans or flexible arrangements

    • Group support sessions (more affordable)

    • Alternative ways I can support you (phone/email consultation)
