Hi, I’m Alyssa.
Registered Nurse, Lactation Consultant & Postpartum Care Provider
I am passionate about true health and wellness.
Throughout nursing school and my nursing career I have been searching for how I can support thriving life on this planet. My background is in critical care, clinical trials, and organic vegetable farming.
After becoming a mama in 2018, I realized that the health of mothers is foundational to the health of the planet. How we are cared for and resourced as mothers directly impacts our ability to care for the new life we have created- and the ripples continue.
I believe if we get still and listen to our deep inner knowing it will not lead us astray. As a new mother so much conflicting information is thrown at us. I am honored to support you to stand in your authority and connect to your intuition while providing you with the resources and information rooted in our design as humans and supported by modern science to inform this.
How I Approach Postpartum Care
I believe that mothers are the portal to the healing of humanity.
It starts with you.
My approach to postpartum care is rooted in these core beliefs:
1. Mothers Deserve to Be Cared For
The postpartum period is a time of profound change and vulnerability. You don't have to navigate it alone.
2. Holistic Wellness Matters
True healing addresses the whole person—body, mind, heart, and spirit. A healthy mother raises healthy children.
3. Trust Your Intuition
You know your baby best. My role is to empower you to trust that knowing and make choices aligned with your values.
4. Traditional Wisdom + Modern Knowledge
I blend evidence-based healthcare with traditional postpartum practices and holistic healing modalities.
5. We Are Not Made to Mother Alone
Connection, support, and community are essential. Thriving is possible when we're truly supported.
6. Every Mother Is Unique
There's no one "right" way to go through postpartum. My care is deeply personalized to your specific needs, values, and vision.
